Your responsibilities will include:
Recording all financial transactions accurately and promptly
Maintaining complete and up-to-date ledgers, journals and accounting records
Preparing invoices and receipts and keeping accurate records of payments
Reconciling bank, cash and other financial accounts
Maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records and following up outstanding balances
Organising and filing invoices, receipts, vouchers and other supporting documents
Preparing regular financial summaries and reports for management
Supporting payroll, budgeting, audits and statutory or tax reporting as required
Who we’re looking for
You should have:
A relevant accounting qualification or professional training
Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a related finance role
A sound understanding of bookkeeping and double-entry accounting
Confidence using spreadsheets and accounting software
Excellent numerical ability and close attention to detail
Strong organisational, filing and time-management skills
Integrity, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information
The ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate clearly
Experience in the tourism, travel or hospitality sector would be an advantage, but is not essential.
