We are looking for a

BID Executive

to join our team. This role involves managing the full end-to-end tendering and proposal process, supporting business growth in the sale of Microsoft products and services. The ideal candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, and strategic, with a strong passion for the ICT sector and solid experience navigating both public and private procurement landscapes in Kenya. As a Tender Manager, you will play a key role in developing high-quality proposals, ensuring competitive positioning, and directly contributing to the company’s revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Tender & Proposal Management

Manage the full lifecycle of tenders and commercial proposals, from identification to submission.

Identify and track market opportunities through public and private procurement platforms.

Prepare, coordinate, and submit responses to tenders, RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, and other relevant proposals.

Ensure all submissions comply with technical, financial, and administrative requirements, as well as internal standards and deadlines.

Analyze tender documents in detail from both public and private sector clients.

Develop timelines, plans, and deliverables to ensure timely and complete submissions.

Maintain a repository of reusable content, templates, and case studies.

Proposal Writing & Documentation

Write compelling technical and commercial proposals aligned with Microsoft solutions.

Collaborate with sales, technical, and leadership teams to develop high-value proposals.

Review and edit proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Ensure all formatting and presentation standards align with company and Microsoft guidelines.

Collaboration & Coordination

Work closely with project and technical teams to understand and translate client requirements into strong technical responses.

Coordinate internal approval processes, including pricing, terms, and certifications.

Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment with product offerings and licensing models.

Facilitate review meetings prior to final submission.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

Maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities and tender calendars.

Monitor procurement portals, company websites, and partner channels for relevant opportunities.

Collaborate with the business development team to qualify opportunities and support go/no-go decisions.

Track ICT procurement trends in Kenya, particularly in government and enterprise sectors.

Compliance

Ensure compliance with Microsoft Partner requirements and certifications.

Guarantee that all proposals comply with applicable regulations and policies.

Keep company profiles, certifications, and procurement documents up to date across platforms.

Track renewal deadlines for certifications and compliance documentation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Contribution to revenue and tender win rate.

Client compliance and turnaround time.

Completion of relevant Microsoft certifications.

Timely submission of error-free proposals.
