Our client, a leading automotive company in Kenya, is seeking to recruit a
Chinese Sales Consultant
to support business growth and strengthen relationships with Chinese-speaking clients and business networks in Kenya.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, promoting the company’s products and services, and supporting the sales process from lead generation through to closure.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage relationships with Chinese-speaking clients, investors, contractors, business owners, and corporate customers.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, market research, and direct client engagement.
Promote the company’s products and services to prospective and existing customers while clearly communicating their commercial value.
Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, client meetings, preparation of quotations and proposals, negotiations, follow-ups, and closing sales.
Maintain regular communication with customers to understand their needs, resolve concerns, and identify opportunities for repeat and additional business.
Support communication and coordination between Chinese-speaking customers and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and a positive customer experience.
Maintain accurate sales records, customer information, pipeline updates, forecasts, and activity reports.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences, and emerging business opportunities within relevant Chinese business networks.
Key Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, International Business, or a related field.
5+ years’ experience in sales, business development, key account management, or customer relationship management.
Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate confidently in both business and client-facing environments.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships and develop new customer accounts.
Self-driven, target-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of independently managing a sales pipeline and achieving agreed sales targets.
