PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The role of the Living Wellness Practitioner will be responsible for creating and delivering transformative holistic experiences within a luxury lodge environment. This role integrates Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, and Therapeutic Massages into a seamless guest wellness journey grounded in safety, professionalism, and international best practice standards.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliverables
Deliver high-quality private and group yoga sessions tailored to guests’ abilities, experience and wellness goals.
Hold a minimum 200-hour internationally recognised Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) qualification.
Facilitate meditation, mindfulness and relaxation sessions that promote wellbeing and relaxation.
Lead safe, structured and professionally supervised breathwork sessions, following recognised safety practices.
Tailor yoga practices to each guest’s individual abilities, experience, mobility and wellness goals.
Create engaging, inclusive and personalised wellness experiences for guests.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education:
Advanced Yoga Therapy qualification, preferably an internationally recognised programme such as an 800-hour Yoga Therapy.
Additional recognised Breathwork certification, preferably 200–400 hours.
Certification in Meditation or Mindfulness.
Recognised Therapeutic Massage / Bodywork qualification.
Experience:
A minimum of 2–5 years of experience, preferably in luxury hospitality, retreats or high-end wellness resorts.
Skills & Competencies:
Warm, authentic and emotionally intelligent.
Passionate about wellness and exceptional guest experiences.
Organised, dependable and confident while maintaining professional boundaries.
Comfortable working independently in a remote luxury safari environment.
Committed to continuous learning and professional development.
