Reports to the Chair of Department.
Minimum Requirements
Doctorate degree holder or its academic equivalent from a recognized or accredited institution.
Master’s degree qualification in international relations or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University.
Bachelor Degree in International relations or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized university.
Must have at least 3 years of teaching experience as a lecturer at a university level position or an equivalent institution.
Must have a minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points as lecturer or equivalent of which at least twenty-four (24) should be from refereed journals.
Must show evidence of contribution to university life through active participation in departmental matters, students’ academic advising, School and University meetings committee membership and others.
Must be recognized and registered by relevant professional bodies (where applicable).
Evidence of affiliation to a professional body will be an added advantage.
