Deputy Director, Insurance Services - Insurance Risk Monitoring

Job Purpose

To oversee compensation of claimants of an insurer placed under a statutory manager or whose license has been cancelled pursuant to the provisions of the Insurance Act.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Cumulative service period of fifteen (15) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the level of Assistant Director, Insurance Services or equivalent in a comparable and relevant position;

Master’s Degree in the following disciplines: Commerce, Actuarial Science, Finance, Insurance, Economics, Business Administration or its equivalent from recognized and accredited institution.

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business Administration or its equivalent from a recognized and accredited institution.

Leadership course lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized Institution;

Proficiency in computer applications; and

Fulfil the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.
