Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet established quality standards.
Conduct quality inspections throughout all stages of the production process using approved inspection procedures and checklists.
Verify that finished products comply with approved drawings, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Interpret engineering drawings and communicate quality requirements to production teams.
Approve or reject work based on established quality standards.
Identify quality defects, non-conformities, and process gaps requiring corrective action.
Conduct root cause analysis of recurring quality issues and recommend preventive measures.
Work closely with production teams to implement corrective and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate inspection records, defect reports, and corrective action documentation.
Prepare and submit periodic quality inspection reports.
Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Promote adherence to workplace health and safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
At least one (1) year of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing, fabrication, automotive, or related industrial environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques and quality assurance processes.
Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and record management.
