Head Housekeeper – Nairobi, Kenya

Our client, based in Djibouti, is seeking a reliable, experienced, and professional Kenyan Private

Head Housekeeper

to manage and maintain her villa to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent housekeeping, cooking, and general household support. The successful candidate should be trustworthy, discreet, well-organized, hardworking, and highly skilled in preparing a variety of international, Middle Eastern, English, and American cuisines. The candidate must be a Kenyan national with a valid passport and be ready and willing to relocate to Djibouti. Previous experience working in a private household, strong housekeeping skills, and proven cooking experience are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Cleaning maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization throughout the home.

Cooking & Meal preparation Prepare a variety of international, Middle Eastern, English, and American cuisine.

Laundry & Ironing handle washing, ironing, folding, and organization of clothing and household linens.

Meal Planning & Groceries plan meals, assist with grocery shopping, and monitor household food supplies.

Household Support assist with errands, household organization, and other reasonable domestic duties.

Privacy & Care handle household belongings responsibly and maintain strict confidentiality and respect for the family’s privacy.

Key Qualifications

Must be a Kenyan citizen with a valid Kenyan passport most preferred female.

Must be ready and willing to relocate to Djibouti.

Must have previous experience as a private housekeeper, domestic worker, or in a similar role.

Proven ability to prepare international and Middle Eastern cuisine.

Should be Professional & trustworthy, honest, discreet, reliable, hardworking, and respectful.

Must have good organization, communication & strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
