KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely transter patients between the operating theatre, recovery room, wards and other hospital departments.
Assist nurses and other medical staff in moving and positioning patients when required.
Ensure patients are handled with dignity, care and respect Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient transport equipment, including stretchers and wheelchairs.
Respond promptly to requests for patient transfers.
Observe hospital safety and infection prevention protocols.
REQUIREMENTS
At least a KCSE certificate.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit and able to assist with patient transfers.
Compassionate, responsible and attentive to patient safety.
Previous experience in a hospital setting is an added advantage.
