WE ARE HIRING: HR BUSINESS PARTNER

Location: Sege | Industry: Salt Production / Industrial Operations

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

to join our growing salt production business.

The successful candidate will serve as a strategic and operational HR partner to management, supporting the business to build a capable, productive and engaged workforce while ensuring strong employee relations, HR compliance and alignment with operational objectives.

This is an

operational HR role

suited to an HR professional who is comfortable working closely with production teams, supervisors and management in an industrial environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The HRBP will be responsible for:

Developing and implementing workforce plans aligned with production and business requirements.

Managing recruitment and talent acquisition for operational, technical, supervisory and support positions.

Supporting production workforce planning, including shift-based and site-based employees.

Managing employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace conflicts.

Driving performance management and ensuring clear KPIs across the workforce.

Developing and coordinating employee training and development programmes.

Supporting management on labour relations and employment matters.

Monitoring attendance, overtime, absenteeism, turnover and workforce productivity.

Supporting payroll and employee benefits administration.

Ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws, HR policies and statutory requirements.

Partnering with Operations and HSE to promote employee welfare and a strong workplace safety culture.

Providing management with meaningful HR reports, workforce analytics and practical recommendations.

Supporting organisational development, change management and succession planning.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an HR professional who combines strong technical HR knowledge with practical business and operational understanding

.

The ideal candidate should have:

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline.

Professional HR certification is an advantage.

5–7 years of progressive HR experience

, with at least 3 years in an HRBP, HR Manager or similar role.

Experience working within a

manufacturing, mining, construction, oil & gas, FMCG, agribusiness or other industrial/production environment

.

Strong knowledge of employee relations, labour management and Ghanaian employment practices.

Experience managing blue-collar, technical and operational workforces.

Strong workforce planning and recruitment capabilities.

Experience working closely with Operations and senior management.

Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

High integrity, confidentiality and professional judgement.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Experience in the salt production industry

will be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Candidates from other industrial or production environments are encouraged to apply, particularly those with experience managing technical, production, engineering, maintenance, logistics or site-based workforces.
