Job Description
ABOUT ICT SHARED SERVICES
The ICT Shared Services department provides the digital backbone that enables Amref’s health programmes across the continent — building and maintaining internal systems, digital health platforms, and business applications used by staff, partners, and communities. The team supports a growing portfolio of custom-built platforms (case management, review and approval workflows, staff and program administration tools) alongside integrations with established digital health tools such as DHIS2, KoboToolbox, and ODK. The department plays a central role in translating business and programmatic needs into reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions.
JOB PURPOSE
The ICT Intern – Software Developer will provide hands-on technical support across Amref’s software development lifecycle, working alongside senior developers on real production systems. The intern will gain practical experience in full-stack development (React/.NET), API design, debugging, and collaborative engineering practices, while contributing directly to platforms that support Amref’s health programming across Africa.
