Job Overview
We are looking for a driven and people-oriented Investment Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their investment career who is excited about engaging senior decision-makers, building long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored investment solutions.
You will work closely with high-profile corporates and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), helping them understand their financial goals, assess risk, and build well-structured investment portfolios across a wide range of products.
What You’ll Do
Business Development & Prospecting
Engage senior decision-makers through proactive outreach and relationship-driven prospecting
Leverage personal, professional, and social networks to identify and develop new opportunities
Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients
Research market trends and industry developments to support informed investment conversations
Consistently work towards and exceed agreed sales targets
Client Meetings, Presentations & Sales
Conduct professional investment presentations for corporate and HNWI clients
Hold regular in-office and off-site meetings with prospects and existing clients
Share up-to-date product information and marketing materials
Assist clients with account opening documentation and onboarding
Facilitate fund transfers and all documentation related to investment placements
Client Relationship Management & Portfolio Support
Provide ongoing monthly servicing to existing clients
Maintain strong knowledge of local and international investment products, including:
Fixed Income
Securities
Offshore Investments
Unit Trusts
Pension Products
Monitor client portfolios and recommend adjustments during quarterly reviews
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and industry requirements
Who We’re Looking For
Successful Investment Executives typically demonstrate:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
A confident, outgoing, and professional approach to client engagement
High levels of self-motivation and resilience
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
A genuine interest in building a long-term career in investments or financial services
Ability to analyse financial data and translate insights into clear client advice
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain complex concepts simply
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

KES 60,000 gross basic salary
Insurance & Pension
Uncapped commission ranging from 10% to 30% of company earnings on your sales
Typical earning potential:
3–12 months experience: KES 160,000+ gross
12–24 months experience: KES 260,000+ gross
2+ years experience: KES 400,000+ gross, based on performance
