The scholarship package shall cover tuition fees and research costs for the full duration of study. Eligibility is limited to Kenyan citizens aged thirty (30) years or below, who will additionally be engaged as Tutorial Fellows. Programmes of study funded under the scholarship are scheduled to commence in August 2026.
Important information
Applicants MUST have obtained a minimum of Second-Class Honours (Upper Division) in a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized and accredited University;
Upon successful completion of the Masters Programme, candidates shall be expected to transition to Ph.D. under the scholarship programme;
The successful candidates shall be bonded under the applicable terms and conditions of the Garissa University;
The successful candidates shall be expected to complete their studies within the prescribed study period;

The studies will be tenable at Dedan Kimathi University;
