Live-In Chef - Private Residence

Our client is seeking a professional and trustworthy Live-In Chef to manage daily meal preparation and kitchen operations within a private residence.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in a private home or executive residence and be capable of preparing quality meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene, discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and prepare daily meals, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Prepare meals according to family preferences, nutritional requirements and dietary restrictions or allergies.

Develop weekly or monthly rotating menus.

Prepare special-occasion meals and dinner-party menus when required.

Source quality ingredients and support household grocery shopping.

Manage kitchen inventory, pantry and refrigerator stocks.

Work within agreed household food budgets and minimize food wastage.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

Ensure proper food handling, storage and kitchen safety.

Maintain kitchen appliances, utensils and work areas in good condition.

Provide light kitchen-related housekeeping and pantry organization where required.

Provide table-service support when required by the household.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma, certificate or degree in Culinary Arts, Food Production, Hospitality Management or a related field.

At least 3 years experience working as a chef in a private home, executive residence or similar environment.

Valid Food Handler's Certificate.

Valid medical/fitness report.

Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling.

Ability to prepare a variety of meals and adapt menus to household preferences.

Minimum qualifications

BA/BSc/HND , Diploma , Vocational
