Requirements for Appointment
A Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.BCH.B) degree in Medicine from a University recognized in Kenya;
A Master’s Degree in the relevant specialization;
Must have served as a medical Officer for at least ten (10) years commutatively and at least three (3) years in a senior position either Public or Private institution
Be registered and in good standing with the Kenya Medical Practitioner and Dentist Board;
Valid practicing Licence from Medical Practitioner and Dentist Board;
Certificate in Senior Management Course not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
Demonstrated a good understanding of the County Governments Mandate, Health Policies, as well as Vision 2030;
Shown outstanding administrative capability and professional competence required in managing livestock production services
Have capacity to multitask within strict timeliness with minimum supervision.

NOTE:
Member of the Audit Committee shall be appointed for a term of three years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further one term only.
Remuneration: This is not a salaried position; Allowances applicable shall be determined by the salaries and remuneration commission.
A person shall not be qualified for appointment as a Chair or a member of Audit Committee if the persons: -
Is present or past employee of the County Government of Mandera.
Have served as an employee or an agent of a business organization which has carried out business with County Government of Mandera for the last two years

Incomplete application form will not be accepted and giving false information in the application form will lead to automatic disqualification. The Board will not accept any other form of application except Mandera County Government employments application form.
