REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
Be a Kenyan citizen
A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) degree from a university recognized by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists council.
A Master of medicine in Obstetrics/Gynecology from a university recognized by
Kenya medical practitioners and dentists Council.
A Registration Certificate by Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
A Valid practicing license from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
Specialist Recognition Certificate from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists council
Shown outstanding professional competence and administrative capacity and initiative in the general organization and management of the patients in the area of specialization.
Certificate in Computer Application skills from a recognized institution
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring fetal development, conducting routine prenatal checkups, managing labor and delivery (including cesarean sections), and providing
Conducting annual wellness exams, Pap tests, and breast exams to screen for cancers (cervical, uterine, and ovarian) and other disorders.
Investigating and treating menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and conditions like endometriosis or PCOS.
Advising patients on contraception, birth control options, and fertility.
Performing both routine and specialized surgeries, including hysterectomies and removal of ovarian cysts or fibroids
Training, supervising and mentoring medical officers (intern) and other students

Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
Clearance certificate from Credit Reference Bureau(CRB)
