ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Perioperative Nurse will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical and invasive procedures, ensuring safe, effective and evidence-based care throughout the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases. The role also supports patient safety, infection prevention, surgical asepsis and efficient theatre operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing or Kenya Registered Nursing.
Higher Diploma in Perioperative Nursing. (Mandatory)
Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya with a valid Practicing License.
At least 2 years' experience in a busy Operating Room.
Experience providing direct nursing care in surgical cases within the last 1 Year required.
Valid ACLS and BLS certificates.
