Duties and Responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for Instructor’s cadre. Dutiesandresponsibilities entail maintenance of motor vehicles and equipment, prepareanduse them for instructional duties in the relevant field under guidance of aseniorinstructor. In addition, the officer will prepare lesson plans, instruct, assess, conduct proficiency test for drivers and mark practical work for students.
Requirement for Appointment
Craft Certificate in Automotive
Driver’s suitability test
Instructors Certificate from a recognized Institution or attended T.O.T course of not less than Four (4) weeks will be an added advantage
Registration with KETRB will be an added advantage
First Aid Certificate from KIHBT or St. John’s Ambulance will be an added advantage
Valid Driver’s Licence (Classes B, C1, C)
