Job Summary
He/She will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business, as well as provide guidance on compliance matters
Key Responsiblities And Duties Will Include
Develop policies to reduce risk of non-compliance
Revise procedures, report periodically to identify hidden risk or non-conformity issues.
Evaluate the efficiency of control and improve them continuously
Prepare report for Management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
Maintain records of compliance activities
Applicant must be able to identify the potential risks that may hinder the reputation, security and safety of the Bank
submit reports to the Board highlighting areas of potential risks to the company
Qualification Required & Experience
University Degree in Accounting/Banking and Finance/B.Com
A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
Not less than 5 years experience in the related area
Must have knowledge in T24 Banking software and in credit administration
Must be a team player and have the ability to handle complex issues
Must have interpersonal communication skills
Competencies And Skills
Proven experience as risk and compliance officer
Knowledge of bank procedures
A good knowledge of reporting procedures and records keeping
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to persuade others to adhere to standards
