SALES AND MARKETING OFFICER
Job Description
Achieve set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for company products and services.
Promote Taifa Mobile solutions including Bulk SMS, USSD, Short Codes, Bulk Data, Voice Solutions, Skiza Tunes, and Payment Solutions.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Generate and follow up on sales leads through direct sales, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and prepare product proposals.
Prepare quotations, contracts, and sales reports.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
Support debt collection and ensure timely payment follow-up from clients.
Coordinate with ICT and Customer Care teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns for company products and services.
Support digital marketing initiatives including social media, online advertising, and promotional campaigns.
Participate in roadshows, activations, exhibitions, and other on-ground marketing activities.
Monitor campaign performance and prepare ROI reports for management review.
Develop marketing concepts and promotional ideas for B2B and B2C products.
Maintain brand visibility across digital and traditional media platforms.
Assist in creating marketing materials including brochures, presentations, banners, and client communication.
Gather customer feedback and recommend improvements to products and services.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and marketing initiatives.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and marketing reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and branding guidelines.
Participate in departmental meetings, training, and performance review sessions.
Support achievement of departmental KPIs and company strategic goals.
Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or related field
