Sales Executive – Freight & Logistics at Powervision Consultancy

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and generate new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain market

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients

Make sales calls, conduct client visits and arrange business meetings

Understand clients logistics needs and recommend suitable solutions

Prepare quotations, proposals and negotiate commercial terms with clients

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers

Follow up on leads, enquiries, quotations and proposals to convert opportunities into sales

Achieve set monthly and annual sales targets

Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities

Work closely with operations and other internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospects and client interactions

Prepare regular sales reports and provide feedback on market opportunities and challenges

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field

2+ years of proven sales/business development experience, preferably within the logistics, transport, freight, courier, clearing & forwarding or supply chain industry

Demonstrated ability to generate leads and convert prospects into paying clients

Strong understanding of B2B sales and client relationship management

Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills

Strong prospecting and networking abilities

Target-driven, proactive and commercially minded

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines and sales targets

Good knowledge of the Nairobi business market and ability to develop a strong client network will be an added advantage

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/sales management systems is an advantage
