Qualifications, Skills and Experience
CPA Finalist – Mandatory.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience within the FMCG industry.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Navision or Business Central – Mandatory.
Good understanding of inventory accounting, costing, and financial controls.
Practical experience in VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax, and other statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. High level of accuracy, integrity, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inventory reconciliations, stock valuation, and cost analysis.
Prepare statutory tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Conduct bank reconciliations and support cash flow management.
Manage General Ledger postings, account allocations, and financial records.
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting data in Microsoft Dynamics.
Manage fixed assets, including records, reconciliations, and depreciation.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial information and documentation.
Prepare and support financial reporting and analysis as required.
