About the Project
GIZ, in partnership with Expertise France under the EU-funded“Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture: Audio-visual”project, supports stronger socio-economic and intercultural ties between Africa and Europe through collaboration across the audiovisual industry.
The project focuses onfilm, series, animation, video gaming and immersive content, strengthening cross-continental partnerships, markets and ecosystems.

Strengthen market linkages, distribution models, marketing and audience engagement between African and European audiovisual stakeholders.
Support creators and industry actors to reach new audiences and markets across both regions.
Develop and manageconsortia and strategic partnershipsto strengthen collaboration across the audiovisual value chain.
Build synergies among creators, distributors, platforms, broadcasters and policy stakeholders.
Collaborate with GIZ regional, bilateral and global projects, Expertise France and EU partners to ensure coordinated and impactful interventions.
