African Diaspora Resource Centre (ADRC) provides transitional support services to African diaspora looking to visit and relocate to Ghana.

Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Twi Language Teacher to provide engaging and effective lessons to learners with an English-speaking background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping students develop their speaking, reading, and writing skills in Twi, as well as deepening their cultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver structured Twi language lessons tailored to English-speaking learners.

Develop interactive and engaging teaching materials to enhance learning.

Provide individualized support to students based on their language proficiency levels.

Introduce students to Ghanaian culture and traditions through language instruction

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Incorporate multimedia tools and real-life scenarios to enhance language acquisition.

Maintain an encouraging and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

Language Teaching and Teaching skills

Lesson Planning skills

Background in Education and Literature

Fluency in Twi language

Experience teaching Twi language to a diverse audience

Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, Literature, or related field
