Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts, including daily sales reconciliation
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
Process payables, receivables and payroll inputs
Manage inventory costing and stock-related reconciliations
Handle tax filings and compliance (VAT, PAYE, WHT, CIT) and liaise with FIRS and auditors
Monitor budgets and flag cost-control issues.
Requirements
B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field
ICAN or ANAN membership (or in progress) is an advantage
3+ years’ accounting experience, preferably in retail
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage) and Excel
High integrity, accuracy and strong attention to detail.
