Automotive Technicians

Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.

Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to ensure vehicles meet quality and safety standards.

Perform routine servicing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.

Support EV and hybrid vehicle inspection and maintenance where qualified.

Identify defects, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.

Maintain accurate job cards, inspection checklists, and repair records.

Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment.

Work with other technicians and supervisors to complete jobs efficiently.

Requirements:

OND or relevant trade qualification in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

2–5 years of relevant automotive technical experience.

Practical knowledge of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, mechanical systems, and automotive electrical systems.

Experience with PDI, vehicle assembly, or diagnostic tools is an advantage.

EV or hybrid vehicle training is an advantage for candidates assigned to those systems.

Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service instructions.

Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
