Car Detailer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, hardworking and detail-oriented Car Detailer responsible for cleaning, restoring and maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles.

The successful candidate will ensure that every vehicle receives high-quality detailing services and meets the company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles.

Wash, dry and clean vehicle bodies, tyres, rims, windows and other exterior surfaces.

Vacuum and deep-clean vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, dashboards and upholstery.

Apply wax, polish and other approved products to improve vehicle appearance and protect surfaces.

Perform paint polishing and basic paint correction where qualified.

Clean and maintain vehicle detailing equipment, tools and work areas.

Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to instructions.

Inspect completed vehicles to ensure quality standards are met before delivery.

Identify and report stains, scratches, damages or other vehicle imperfections.

Handle customers’ vehicles carefully and maintain professional conduct at all times.

Ensure detailing jobs are completed within the agreed timeframe.

Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

Previous experience in car detailing, auto spa services or professional car washing is preferred.

Knowledge of vehicle cleaning products, tools and detailing techniques.

Ability to operate detailing equipment safely.

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Honesty, reliability and a strong work ethic.

Ability to work under minimal supervision.
