Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to handle daily cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, assist with bank deposits, and keep basic inventory records.
Candidates should be comfortable handling cash, balancing daily transactions, keeping proper records, and using basic Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, record, and balance daily cash transactions.
Maintain accurate records of cash received and expenses.
Reconcile cash and report discrepancies promptly.
Make bank deposits and maintain deposit records when required.
Maintain basic inventory/stock records and assist with stock checks.
Keep receipts, payment records, and financial documents properly organised.
Assist with basic accounting and administrative duties.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Cashier, Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or in a similar role is preferred
OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
Honest, trustworthy, and responsible with cash.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to balance cash and maintain proper records.
Additional Requirement: May be required to work on Mondays when necessary.
