At Vetsark, we're building an integrated agribusiness that empowers farmers, strengthens food supply chains, and makes affordable animal protein more accessible across Africa. We're looking for a strategic, commercially minded, and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations, strengthen financial controls, drive profitability, and support our next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Oversee accounting, financial reporting, taxation, audits, and internal controls.
Drive fundraising, capital structuring, investor relations, and treasury management.
Manage working capital, financial risks, and credit portfolio oversight.
Improve unit economics, cost efficiency, and business profitability.
Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
Provide strategic financial insights to support business expansion and executive decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a must. Masters in Finance or MBA is an added advantage.
ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance experience, including senior leadership responsibilities.
Strong experience in financial management, cash flow planning, financial modelling, and corporate governance.
Proven experience raising and managing debt facilities, grant fundraising, or investor relationships.
Experience in agribusiness, FMCG, manufacturing, financial services, or supply-chain businesses is an advantage.
Strong commercial judgment, leadership skills, and unquestionable integrity.
