Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious Company Driver to provide reliable transportation services for the company, its personnel, and other authorised assignments. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent driving skills, good knowledge of Lagos roads, sound judgment, and a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport management, staff, company representatives, and authorised passengers as assigned.
Ensure timely transportation of company personnel, documents, goods, and other assigned items.
Maintain strict adherence to approved routes, schedules, and management instructions.
Ensure the safety and security of passengers and company property at all times.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, checking tyres, brakes, engine oil, coolant, lights, and other essential components.
Ensure company vehicles are clean, properly maintained, and in good working condition.
Monitor vehicle servicing schedules, insurance, roadworthiness, and other statutory documentation.
Maintain accurate vehicle movement logs, mileage records, fuel consumption records, and trip reports.
Report mechanical faults, accidents, traffic violations, or other vehicle-related incidents promptly.
Ensure proper accountability for fuel, vehicle documents, and other assigned company property.
Comply with traffic regulations, road safety standards, and company driving policies.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling company-related information.
Perform other driving and operational duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of SSCE/WAEC qualification.
Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience as a professional or company driver.
Valid driver\'s licence appropriate for the vehicle category.
Good knowledge of Lagos roads and surrounding areas.
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations and road safety procedures.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to use navigation applications and follow assigned routes.
Physically fit, punctual, disciplined, and dependable.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of honesty, integrity, patience, and responsibility.
Clean driving record with no history of serious traffic violations.
Previous experience working with a corporate organisation or established business will be an added advantage.
