About the Role
We're looking for a highly creative Content Creator/Videographer who can own content creation end to end i.e. coming up with the idea, shooting it, editing it and posting it. You should understand the BB Bread brand, Kenyan culture and what makes people stop scrolling. You're constantly spotting everyday moments, trends, and conversations that can be turned into fun, relatable, shareable BB Bread content while always keeping the brand fun and family-friendly
Key Responsibilities
• Own content creation end to end, from ideation to shooting, editing and posting
• Constantly generate fresh, creative, relevant content ideas that fit the BB Bread brand voice
• Shoot and edit Reels, TikToks, skits, photos, stories and other short-form video content using the camera and editing tools
• Jump on trends fast by spotting trending sounds, formats, memes and conversations, and adapt them into on-brand BB Bread content while they're still relevant
• Write engaging, funny and on-brand captions and scripts to go with the content
• Plan and manage a monthly content calendar, balancing planned content with room to react to trends in real time
• Post and manage content across BB Bread's social platforms, and actively engage with the community (comments, DMs, replies)
• Collaborate with designers, influencers and other creators when a bigger production is needed
• Support digital campaigns, activations and product launches with creative, on-the-ground content
• Track what's working by monitoring performance and using insights to advise future content
• Stay plugged into social media trends, creators and emerging platforms/formats
Requirements
• 2–4 years' experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, advertising or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating original social media content and creative ideas.
• Excellent understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating or directing short-form video content is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Kenyan culture, humour and social conversations.
• Ability to work quickly, independently and with multiple content ideas at once
