Job Description
A Document Control Specialist role based in Lagos, Nigeria, focused on maintaining and governing document management practices across a multi-subsidiary or Group structure.
The position centres on compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards and on supporting audit and inspection activities.
Main responsibilities
Manage document control processes across a multi-subsidiary or Group structure.
Ensure document management practices comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
Coordinate documentation for ISO certification audits, client audits and regulatory inspections.
Administer document control using SharePoint and enterprise document management systems.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Records Management, Information Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification, Document Control Management certification
Minimum of 5 years of experience in document management, records management, or related fields in the oil & gas industry
Experience ensuring document management practices comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards, coordinating documentation for ISO certification audits, client audits, and regulatory inspections
Experience managing document control across a multi-subsidiary or Group structure, Proficiency in SharePoint and enterprise document management systems
Based in Nigeria.
