We are seeking an experienced Geoscientist III to integrate geological, geophysical, petrophysical, reservoir and production data to develop robust subsurface models that support field development, reservoir management, production optimisation and reserves maturation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrated geological models using seismic interpretation, well correlations, petrophysical evaluation, reservoir properties and production data.

Integrate geological and dynamic data to assess reservoir architecture, connectivity, compartmentalisation, fluid distribution and remaining hydrocarbon potential.

Identify and mature development and production opportunities, including infill wells, sidetracks, workovers and other reservoir-management options.

Provide production-geology input to integrated subsurface studies, Field Development Plans and reservoir-management activities.

Lead geological input to development and appraisal well maturation and the Well Delivery Process, including well objectives, reservoir targets, depth prognosis, uncertainties, drilling risks and data-acquisition requirements.

Provide geological support during drilling and workover operations, interpreting new well information and managing geological uncertainties and drilling risks.

Prepare and quality-assure geological inputs to well proposals, well resumes, post-well evaluations and End-of-Well Reports; update subsurface models, maps and databases with new well results.

Apply geological risk and uncertainty analysis to interpretations, volumetric assessments and development decisions.

Participate in peer, integrated and value-assurance reviews to ensure technical quality.

Collaborate with Geoscience, Reservoir Engineering, Production Technology, Wells and other disciplines to support integrated field-development and production decisions.

Coach and mentor less-experienced geoscientists and contribute to technical knowledge sharing and capability development.

Requirements & Qualifications

Relevant degree in Geoscience, Geology, Geophysics or a related discipline.

Strong experience integrating geological, geophysical, petrophysical, reservoir and production data for subsurface evaluation and field development.

Demonstrated understanding of geological modelling, production geology, well maturation and the Well Delivery Process.

Knowledge of subsurface risk and uncertainty assessment, volumetric evaluation and reservoir-management practices.

Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical evaluations and recommendations clearly.

Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outputs within agreed schedules.
