About the role
We are seeking a qualified, experienced and passionate Head Gardener to keep our school grounds beautiful, safe and well maintained.
Responsibilities
● Lead the day-to-day care of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees and shrubs
● Plan and implement landscaping designs and improvements
● Identify plants and manage their care, feeding, pruning and pest control
● Maintain high standards of garden aesthetics throughout the year
● Supervise and guide junior grounds staff
● Maintain gardening tools and equipment
Qualifications
● Certificate or Diploma in Gardening and Landscaping
● Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in professional gardening and landscaping
● Strong knowledge of plant identification, care and maintenance
● Experience in landscape design and implementation
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
● Reliable, disciplined and professional
