Role Description
The Wheel Loader Operator role is a full-time, on-site position located in Tepa. The operator is responsible for safely operating a wheel loader and its attachments to move, load, and organize materials according to project requirements. Daily tasks include pre-operation inspections, monitoring equipment performance, following site safety protocols, and collaborating with supervisors and coworkers to complete assigned work efficiently. The role involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, reporting equipment issues promptly, and supporting basic maintenance activities such as greasing, checking fluid levels, and assisting mechanics as needed. The operator is expected to follow instructions accurately, adapt to changing site conditions, and uphold company safety and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating wheel loaders and related heavy equipment in construction, mining, or industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of safe equipment operation practices, site safety rules, and basic mechanical awareness for routine inspections.
Ability to read and follow instructions from supervisors, work plans, and site signage, with attention to detail and situational awareness.
Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods while maintaining focus and safety.
Effective communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with diverse teams, including supervisors, mechanics, and other operators.
Willingness to learn new attachments, techniques, and site procedures, with openness to training and skills development.
High school education or equivalent; formal operator training or certification is an advantage.
Commitment to a zero-incident culture and adherence to all company policies and safety standards.
