Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining data security, hardware/software specifications, and scheduling security backups.
Logging and tracking technical problems and setting up preventive maintenance.
Assisting staff with information processing and system compliance needs
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Bachelor of BusinessInformation Technology (BBIT), or a related field. Relevant professional certificationssuchas CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft will be an added advantage.
Sound knowledge of ICT systems, network administration, information security, andICTbest practices.
Ability to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, servers, routers,switches, and firewalls.
Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, AWS,orAzure, will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, security controls, and appropriate countermeasures.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, andadapt toadynamic work environment.
