Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Infrastructure Design Engineer to develop, review, and coordinate engineering designs for infrastructure development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing technically sound, cost-effective, and sustainable designs that meet project requirements, applicable engineering standards, and construction specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications for roads, drainage systems, earthworks, and associated infrastructure.
Develop and review layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and construction drawings.
Conduct design assessments and evaluate site conditions, survey information, and engineering reports.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and material specifications.
Collaborate with project engineers, surveyors, contractors, and other technical professionals.
Identify design conflicts and recommend practical engineering solutions.
Provide technical support during construction and respond to site design queries.
Participate in design reviews, project planning, and value engineering.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant infrastructure design experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; knowledge of other relevant engineering design software is an advantage.
Strong understanding of road geometry, drainage design, earthworks, and infrastructure construction practices.
Good knowledge of engineering design standards and technical documentation.
COREN registration or progress toward professional registration is an advantage.
Required Skills

Effective communication and teamwork.
Ability to manage multiple design deliverables and meet deadlines.
Minimum qualifications
BA/BSc/HND , MBA/MSc/MA
