KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct financial, operational and regulatory compliance audits.
Review internal controls, identify risks and recommend improvements.
Carry out pre-payment and post-payment audits.
Prepare audit reports and monitor corrective actions.
Support the development of audit policies, procedures and risk management frameworks.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or HND in a relevant course.
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience (internal audit or public accounting). ICAN qualification or membership of an IFAC-recognised professional body. Experience in designing and reviewing internal controls.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and Sage. Strong analytical, communication, report-writing and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of IT and e-business auditing.
Flexibility to travel occasionally.
