Junior Medical Laboratory Scientist, Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist, And Principal Medical Laboratory Scientist.

JOB OVERVIEW

Revna Biosciences Limited is seeking dynamic individuals for the roles of Junior Medical Laboratory Scientists, Senior Medical Laboratory Scientists, and Principal Medical Laboratory Scientists. These individuals will be responsible for performing the underlisted duties:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

● Receive urine, blood or other human samples for experimentation and analysis.

● Prepare standard volumetric solutions or reagents to be combined with specimens.

● Perform manual, semi-automated and fully automated laboratory investigations accurately and safely.

● Test and study blood, urine, and other body fluids

● Evaluate test results and prepare reports for physicians.

● Maintain laboratory quality assurance and safety standards.

● Guide and supervise junior staff and technicians.

● Keep records and reports on results according to established procedures.

● Ensure personal duty of care with respect to laboratory equipment.

● Develop skills and participate in regular, routine maintenance and quality control checks.

● Assist in the induction of students in the laboratory.

● Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

BIOBANKING

● Inventory control and biospecimen distribution.

● Manage collection, processing, storage, and tracking of biospecimens using LIMS while ensuring sample integrity.

● Maintain QA/QC standards, cold chain systems, and compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.

● Support research and clinical projects through accurate documentation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

● Possess a BSc in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.

● Must have passed the Allied Health Professions Council licensure examination and be in good standing.

● Junior Medical Laboratory Scientist- Minimum of 0-3 years of professional experience

● Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience

● Principal Medical Laboratory Scientist- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience

● Experience carrying out a variety of tests, analyses, or production and research activities involving chemical, biochemical, and biological samples and products.

● General knowledge of operations and techniques in microbiology and molecular biology such as PCR, nucleic acid extraction, etc.

● Knowledge of Quality Assurance concepts

● Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements

● Good Laboratory Practices
