KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
Source and purchase spare parts for trucks and other fleet requirements.
Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
Liaise with suppliers on availability, quality, pricing and delivery timelines.
Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of essential spare parts.
Verify delivered items against purchase orders and specifications.
Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and budgetary requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or certificate in Procurement, Purchasing and Supplies Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in purchasing or procurement will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of truck spare parts and automotive components is desirable.
Good negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic record-keeping.
High attention to detail, integrity and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
