Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the litigation register, court matrix and legal files.
Update and monitor legal matters.
Maintain the contract register and executed agreements.
Track court dates, contractual deadlines and other legal action points.
Coordinate legal instructions and follow up with relevant departments for required documents and information.
Liaise with external counsel on documentation, instructions and matter updates.
Maintain debt recovery and execution records and follow up on outstanding information.
Assist with implementation and tracking of approved legal policies.
Prepare periodic legal status reports and escalate matters requiring legal advice or urgent action.
Qualifications and Skills:
LL.B, Diploma in Law, Legal Studies or related qualification.
1–3 years' experience in legal administration, legal clerical work or a similar role.
Good knowledge of legal documentation and court processes.
Strong organisational, record-keeping and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google workspace; experience with task management & tracking systems is an advantage.
Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Ability to efficiently manage multiple matters and deadlines.
