Job Summary
The Marketing Assistant supports the implementation of marketing initiatives, brand campaigns, digital marketing activities, content creation, and promotional events.
The role assists in building brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and supporting revenue-generating activities for the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support:
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions.
Coordinate marketing materials, advertisements, and collateral.
Support the creation and distribution of newsletters, flyers, and promotional content.
Maintain the hotel's marketing calendar.
Digital Marketing:
Assist with website content updates and promotions.
Manage social media content scheduling and monitoring.
Support email marketing campaigns and database management.
Track digital marketing performance and engagement metrics.
Content Creation:
Prepare marketing presentations and reports.
Assist in creating content for social media, blogs, and hotel communications.
Coordinate photography and promotional content requirements.
Brand Management:
Ensure all marketing materials comply with brand standards.
Support the implementation of corporate marketing initiatives.
Monitor brand consistency across all communication channels.
Events & Partnerships:
Assist with planning promotional events, activations, and community engagements.
Coordinate logistics for trade shows, exhibitions, and hotel events.
Support partnership marketing initiatives and local collaborations.
Administrative Support:
Maintain marketing databases and contact lists.
Process purchase requests, invoices, and vendor documentation.
Prepare marketing activity reports and campaign summaries.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Timely execution of marketing campaigns.
Social media engagement growth.
Website and campaign traffic performance.
Marketing collateral delivery timelines.
Event execution effectiveness.
Marketing database accuracy.
Brand compliance standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
1-2 years of marketing experience preferred.
Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None.
This position is for Nigerian (local) only.
Required Competencies:
Creative thinking and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic graphic design and content creation skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of social media management platforms.
