Marketing & Communications Associate – Nairobi, Kenya

Our client is seeking a passionate and strategic

Marketing & Communications Associate

to elevate the companies brand in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, enhance reputation, and generate revenue, while promoting our commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement marketing strategies and media plans.

Oversee digital marketing campaigns and optimize advertising functions.

Analyze website traffic, optimize SEO, and provide actionable insights.

Curate social media content calendars and manage engagement.

Cultivate relationships with influencers and coordinate public relations activities.

Assist with email marketing campaigns and event planning.

Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and compile marketing reports.

Qualifications

BCOM Marketing Option or BA in Communications

Certification in Digital Marketing from a recognized institution

5+ years of experience in Marketing & Communications, with a minimum of 3 years in Digital Marketing

Strong knowledge of branding principles and marketing strategies

Proven track record of successful digital marketing and public relations campaigns

Expertise in SEO, marketing automation, and web analytics tools

Experience in social media campaign management with a focus on KPIs

Strong creative writing and storytelling abilities

Proficiency in CRM tools, WordPress, Google AdWords, and analytics platforms

Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and within a team to meet objectives

Knowledge of content marketing strategies

Experience in event planning and coordination
