Qualifications and Core Skills
Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Marketing, Entrepreneurship or Administration from a recognized institution.
At least nine (7) years’ experience of which five (5) must be at Assistant Manager level or equivalent in a University, Resea
Institution, large public or private institution or a comparable institution.
A track record in building effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
Experience in creating innovative marketing products.
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent leadership skills
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing implementation of the University Marketing Strategy
Developing and manage the marketing budget
Providing effective leadership and supervision of the marketing team
Managing marketing campaigns by overseeing the planning and execution across various channels.
Developing, managing and executing annual strategic marketing plans to reach appropriate target audiences.
Initiating research, development and implementation of innovative marketing programs.
Developing and promoting branding initiatives consistent with the University’s business goals and objectives.
Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensuring alignment and consistency in marketing efforts.
Analyzing potential new products to enhancing the marketing work of the University.
Providing strategic leadership for the marketing team and other departments.
Experience with marketing automation software, CRM systems, web analytics tools and social media platforms.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned.
