MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
National Diploma (ND) or recognised Medical Laboratory Technician certificate from an MLSCN-recognised institution.
Registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
Valid/current annual practising permit or registration tag, as applicable.
EXPERIENCE AND COMPETIENCES
Minimum of 1-2 years' relevant experience is preferred.
Knowledge of specimen collection, handling, labeling and processing.
Basic knowledge of haematology, microbiology and chemical pathology procedures.
Ability to prepare laboratory reagents and maintain laboratory equipment.
Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection prevention and quality control procedures.
Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
