Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Volunteer

Duration - Six (6) months with possibility of extension

Reports to: M&E Officer

Key responsibilities

Support data collection through surveys, interviews and focus group discussions.

Enter, clean and organize project data, and assist with reports.

Help track project indicators and document success stories and lessons learnt.

Support beneficiary feedback and complaints mechanisms.

Qualifications

OND/HND/B.Sc. in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences or a related field.

Good Excel skills; knowledge of KoboToolbox or ODK is an advantage.

General Requirements

Must be a resident of Borno State.

Fluency in English; ability to speak Hausa and/or Kanuri is required for WASH, Protection and Nutrition roles.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and email).

Willingness to work in communities and IDP camps when required.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team.

Understanding of humanitarian principles is an advantage.

Fresh graduates and NYSC members are encouraged to apply. Previous volunteer or field experience is an added advantage.

These are unpaid volunteer positions. A stipend may be considered when funded projects become available.
