Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognised institution, or an equivalent qualification accepted by the relevant Kenyan regulatory authority.
Current registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board and a valid practising licence.
At least five years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical services, preferably in a busy health facility.
Demonstrated knowledge of dispensing practices, pharmaceutical inventory management, medicine storage and pharmaceutical record-keeping.
Experience using electronic health records, pharmacy management systems or inventory management tools is an added advantage.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate pharmaceutical inventory records and reconcile physical stock against documented balances.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical accountability, including prevention of stock losses, expiry management and appropriate disposal.
Experience working in rural or resource-constrained healthcare settings is desirable.

Ability to identify and escalate medication safety concerns.
