POSITION: HOTEL PROCUREMENT OFFICER.

Weare seeking to recruit a competent, honest, proactive and results-oriented HotelProcurement Officer to manage our hotel's procurement activities,ensuring timely acquisition of quality goods and services at competitive priceswhile maintaining high standards of cost control and operational efficiency.

Source, evaluate and identifyreliable suppliers of hotel goods and services.

Negotiate competitive prices, favorablepayment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.

Procure food items, beverages,housekeeping supplies, kitchen equipment, maintenance materials and other hotelrequirements.

Ensure all purchases are made inaccordance with approved procurement procedures and budgets.

Obtain and analyze quotations toensure value for money.

Monitor stock levels and coordinatewith stores, kitchen, housekeeping and other departments to avoid stock-outs.

Prepare and process purchase ordersand ensure proper documentation of all procurement transactions.

Follow up on orders to ensure timelydelivery of goods and services.

Conduct supplier performanceassessments and maintain an updated supplier database.

Verify the quality, quantity andspecifications of goods delivered.

Maintain accurate procurementrecords and prepare regular procurement reports.

Ensure ethical procurement practicesand prevent unnecessary or unauthorized expenditure.
