WHAT YOU BRING
A degree in computer science, software engineering or a closely related technical field.
At least 2 years in product at a startup or high-growth company, owning outcomes and not just process.
A product you took from idea to live users – and the story of what happened after launch.
Strong software development methodology: agile or scrum in practice, estimation, code review, CI/CD, release management.
Enough technical fluency to read an API contract, sketch a data model and question an architecture decision.
Comfort with data: define a metric, pull the numbers yourself, change your mind when they disagree.
Based in Narobi, and out in the field regularly. Bonus points for mobility, logistics, finTech, lending or energy products, hardware plus software (telematics, IoT, fleet tracking), M-Pesa, asset financing or PAYGO; SQL and your own dashboards, Kiswahili and a feel for the boda boda economy.
