Education
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in architecture, civil engineering, urban and regional planning, economics or physical sciences relevant to development and management of human settlements or a related field is required.
A first-level university degree in combination with two (2) additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is desirable.
Work Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management in human settlements or a related field is required.
Experience in urban planning and design, urban management, participatory planning processes and/or local governance is required.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in urban resilience, displacement, or durable solutions programming in post-crisis or fragile contexts, including integration of humanitarian and development approaches, is required.
Experience in human settlements development, including project/programme design and implementation with the United Nations or similar international organizations, is desirable.
Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and engaging with government counterparts and development partners in complex environments is desirable.
Two (2) years or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
